“Pravda Za Davida”
The documentary feature tells the story David Dragicevic’s case: a 21-year-old boy who disappeared for 6 days and found dead in the city of Banjaluka.
After the tragic finding of the corpse on the banks of the river Urbas, Davor Dragicevic, the boy’s father and former Serbian military during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 90s, begins a protest in the main square of the capital of Republika Srpska.
During the rallies in the city’s main square, the protesters accuse the almost thirty years old Milorad Dodik’s government, of covering the assassination, covering up evidence and throwing off the investigations.
The cries of Davor, thanks also to the social networks, receive a large following and the Bosnian citizens descend for the first time in history to demonstrate in the streets; the protest turns into the PRAVDA ZA DAVIDA foundation.
Muriz Memić has lost his son Dženan in Sarajevo.
Like Davor, He’s fighting against the government for the truth.
After the violent clashes of December the 25th and the arrests and the garrison of the Krajina square by riot police, Davor and the main exponents of the PRAVDA ZA DAVIDA group leave the state.
